ServiceNow acquired Passage AI in 2020.
I joined Passage AI as employee number two to lead the product design and development of the Conversational AI platform. I have designed, built, and planned the roadmap for the core products, Console and Chat Client, on a modern web stack. After landing our first customers, I recruited, hired, and managed the UI team while Passage AI expanded from a company of 5 in Mountain View to over 30 people across the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Japan. Since joining, we raised Series A and grown annual recurring revenue to over one million USD.
As an early employee I have worked on many aspects of the business. My focus is building a strong team with the technical and creative skillsets to overcome the many challenges of building a successful company.

I managed a team of designers and developers at EMC, now Dell EMC, where we built web apps to manage multiple products from a single cloud portal as well as created the UI/UX design system.

I joined EMC as part of the Maginatics acquisition in October 2014.
The Cloud Portal group builds a suite of cloud products and services. I created a new team of designers and developers to own the UI/UX for the Cloud Portal.
In order to raise the standard of quality and to scale up faster, we created a living style guide called the Core Experience Library. Several products are using this design system in production now and a number of others are developing new products with it.
Designs were prototyped in the browser from the beginning. We are currently using Angular 1.5 and planning a transition to Angular 2.

Products drive the design of new components. Designers consider both the specific use case and the general pattern. And component development happens in rapid iterations.

I joined Maginatics as a designer/developer in 2012.
At Maginatics, I worked on all customer-facing aspects of product including UX design, UI development, brand, and marketing. By the beginning of 2014, I had been promoted to Design Director, splitting my time between leading client UI/UX development and driving the creation of marketing materials as Maginatics grew its customer base.
This presentation (PDF) includes both an introduction to the Maginatics MagFS product and a style guide for creating slides on brand.
